By accessing or playing CellSnake ("the game", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, simply don't play.
1. Permitted use
You may play the game free of charge for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, sell, sublicense or redistribute the game or any part of it.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Use bots, scripts, macros or any automation that interacts with the game
- Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage (report them instead — see Contact)
- Attack our infrastructure (DDoS, flooding, brute force, scraping at abusive rates)
- Harass other players, including through offensive display names
- Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer or extract the game's source code
- Impersonate other players or CellSnake staff
Violations result in immediate blocking of your session and/or IP address.
3. Display names
You may choose any display name subject to:
- A maximum of 16 characters
- No control characters, no Unicode direction-override tricks, no zero-width abuse
- No hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise abusive language
- No impersonation of other players or staff
We reserve the right to replace names that violate these rules.
4. User content
The only user-provided content visible to others is your display name, which is subject to Section 3. The game offers no image uploads, chat or long-form text.
5. Availability and your progress
The game is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or preservation of your local progress (best score, streaks), which is stored in your own browser and lost if you clear site data or switch devices. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the game at any time.
6. Intellectual property
All rights in the game's code, design, artwork, name and logo are owned by us. The AI rivals and their names are our original characters. Nothing in these terms grants you any license to our intellectual property beyond playing the game.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, including data loss from browser or server failures, gameplay errors, or the actions of third-party services (advertising networks, internet providers).
8. Advertising
The game is supported by Google AdSense. We do not select individual advertisements. If you encounter an inappropriate ad, please report it so we can flag it to Google. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced with a banner on the home page at least 14 days before taking effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Israel.
